cloud computing

In this post at poly-technology at blogger we are going to tell you what cloud computing is and why the businesses should join cloud computing for their services and not to build data centers at their company to host their data because this way it is more expensive then hosting their data in cloud computing.

http://poly-technology.blogspot.com/2014/01/choosing-right-cell-phone-for-you.html

Businesses can not be distracted from their objective , by their purpose . But , of course, in this case appeared skeptics suspecting that a company can provide business data and these data can not lose . Cloud Engineers Petrovic: answered skeptics by developing these powerful techniques for data security , such as encryption .Since the technologies including the Internet , web browsers -at ,virtual servers , and software parallelism open source are combined have brought a set of options to get more products from computers .The term cloud computing is a concise description of these combined technologies .

" Cloud " in the term cloud computing is a metaphor for computational resources ( computing resources , hardware and software ) to access the companies and users without the need to know exactly , where they are physically located hardware and software .

In the second part of the diploma addressed two very important elements for cloud computing as live migration and data backup . Before we did the live migration should definitely clarify the virtualization . Virtualization is a key technology that enables operation of cloud computing because it allows the resources accessed by different applications depending on the requirements and hides the complexity of resource allocation from the cloud 's users .

If a virtual machine is an application executes its CPU stops or charged more , then the application can be migrated from one virtual machine to another . Migration of live virtual machine includes the transfer of memory pages that were working with , the transfer of resources that are participating in this application ( network card , disk , etc. . ) And CPU status . Each virtual machine has its CPU , its physical memory ( which is shared between virtual machines ) , I / O , etc.

Data backup is very important in the cloud , as the company requires that their data are not lost for any reason . For this reason, depending on the contract i'u providers make data backup client . These data should not only be stored in a data center but must have a data synchronization with another center .

This technique should be performed as in the case of any natural destroying the first center of this information will have the opportunity to do the backup . Backup of data should be in place between the same center servers to data storage . So if a server falls within this center should unquestionably be restored data .

Bookmark http://poly-technology.blogspot.com/ and you will find other news about cloud computing because it is very important for businesses to join cloud computing providers, but it is a very important field for people who cares about technology, Operating Systems, about servers, data centers, virtualization and internet.

The story of the first PC.

In this post at poly-technology we are going to tell the history of the first computer. Who have the first idea, and who developed this idea? And a lot of question like this are going to take answer in this article

I think that this things happened almost 50 years ago, when a small team at the Italian company Olivetti managed to do what no one had done before them; As we know they created a computer small enough to fit on a desk, and could be used not just from the technician people but also from the usual people, because now this computers were small enough. All we know how big was the first HDD and what was the capacity of this hard disk and in this years looking the computer like in the photo here was a great thing. It was the Programma 101, what many consider to be the world’s first personal computer.
We first have to know what computers looked like at the time, If we want to understand how revolutionary the Programma 101 was when it was unveiled back in 1965. Do not forget, this was almost 50 years ago. It was the era of huge mainframes, big as fridges, sometimes filling up entire rooms and it was not good enough to do something good. Only a small elite had access to them.
In the early 1960s, computers were not something you could have all to yourself as we mention before, and most people didn’t even have access to them only technician people good have that lucky.
In this years, Olivetti was trying to compete with the American companies, making large mainframe computers. Being from Europe, they were a bit of an outsider, but they had some limited success.
But, Roberto Olivetti, then-CEO of the company, wanted to try something truly revolutionary. He wanted Olivetti to make a small computer that was more affordable and could be used by regular people, something that you could place on a regular desk. He wanted to create a personal desktop computer. While we are listening this somebody may think the great man Steve Jobs, because he thought in the same way and he became unforgettable in our minds.
Olivetti gave the project to Pier Giorgio Perotto, an engineer at Olivetti, who would work with a small team of just four people to try and get around all the technical hurdles and create this revolutionary device.
Of course that the idea was insanely ambitious. Perotto’s team didn’t even know if it would be possible and for more they did not know if they could do this things. The technology used in computers back then was way too bulky, so the team had to invent something new for almost every element of the new device, which was meant to be the size of a typewriter. The human-centric approach to designing a computer was also something completely new, and brought its own set of challenges as well.
The project started in 1962.

What about Nokia E61i?

Now in the war between iPhone Galaxy could win something Nokia?

Lets see the new parameters of the Nokia E61i: maybe something interesting and advanced is there, maybe the spirit of innovation is changing for Nokia too.

We know about the Nokia E61. It's won several awards. It's been among the most popular Nokia smartphones since it was released. It has a large fan base that has fallen in love with the sleek shape and ergonomic design. The mobile professionals adore the ready access to their documents while on the move. For the techies, where multimedia add-ons and connectivity issues are of priority, the E61 is a nifty and powerful tool.

However, there has been one chief gripe. Fans have always been divided about the absence of a camera.
With that in mind, slightly more than a year after the E-series was launched, Nokia decided to release an updated version of the handset. This one marked with ‘í'. The new model features a few small modifications, some cosmetic changes, a general polishing of everything and of course, a camera.

Anyway, the new Nokia E61i, unlike the previous E61 version, contains a 2 megapixel camera. However, if you are looking for more than an average snapshot, this new feature is inadequate. Unlike many new cameraphones, this one does not come with a Carl Zeiss lens. The Night Mode function is not enhanced with built-in LED light to act as a flash unit although there are settings to adjust the white balance and color tone. On top of everything, image quality isn't stunning.

The most striking physical feature of the E61i is the mocha trimming around half its edges, which embellishes the E61's solid uniform silver plastic colour. In terms of size, height and width, the two are similar; the main change is in the thickness. The E61i is a much flatter device compared to the E61 because it tapers from a base roughly the same width as its predecessor to become 'thinner by a few millimetres' at the top. The battery cover, which was previously made of a magnesium alloy, is now completely steel, adding to this business-like air of the E61i with a slicker overall feel.

Maybe you do not know but the Nokia E61i has a large 16M color TFT display with a QVGA (320x240 pixels) resolution – it measures a good 2.8 inches diagonally which is close to PocketPC displays.
Unlike the E61 where we can distinctly feel the menu keys above the keyboard, it's easier to press the wrong buttons on the E61i because there's considerably less space between each key and the surface is slightly flushed. The joystick on the E61 has also been replaced with a four-way rectangular border with a central Enter key which, fortunately, is just as efficient.

The E61i's individual keys are slightly smaller and their profile slightly more domed. While it takes a little getting use to, QWERTY keyboards have always been one of the most efficient ways to take care of e-mails and messages while on the move. It's well designed and spacey, keys boosting a positive feedback.

While the E61i probably won't appeal greatly to the current E61 crowd unless they are looking to upgrade for the camera feature, it should attract a new group of users who not only want a phone for work but also leisure.

Samsung Galaxy vs iPhone

Samsung Galaxy Camera 2

Now all we see that the battle is between iPhone and Samsung, so they do not stay they innovate all during the time and comes always with new products, with new great ideas, with Phones that everybody would like to have in his hands.

There are two years , it has been predicted that Android will be everywhere , especially in the APNs . Since 2012 , a handful of manufacturers have launched APNs Android , Samsung is the leader. Today, the Galaxy Camera 2, the third APN Android Samsung launches.

The first generation of Galaxy Camera was presented at IFA 2012 (read review here), and in June this year , the manufacturer announced the Galaxy NX APN at an event we attended in London (see the grip here).

The new features of Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 include a Xenon flash flexible that you can hold horizontally projecting light toward the ceiling , 2GB RAM (before it was to 1GB ) , a quad-core processor at 1.6 Ghz updated (from 1.4 Ghz ), a battery of 2000mAh ( 1600mAh against ) , Jelly Bean 4.3 ( upgraded from 4.1) and NFC .

Samsung changed the design and opted for a vintage look and feel similar to the NX300 , the vintage look was a significant trend for the compact digital camera category in the last three years. With Smart Mode 3.0, the number of smart modes has nearly doubled from 16 to 28, and added the following : Selfie Alarm , Continuous Shot , Color bracket , Kids shot , Dawn , Snow, Party / Indoor, Animated photo, Drama , Eraser , Sound & Shot Interval . With Multi Motion Video, users can adjust the speed of capture for movies accelerated or slowed down.

The new model will be WiFi only, and you must use your smartphone as a WiFi hotspot in places where public WiFi networks are not available . It is a good idea because , as a manufacturer , it is always more difficult to bring a product to market with an operator, and most users do not want to manage another package .
Like its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 has a 21X optical zoom, a 4.8 LCD touch "a BSI CMOS sensor 16.3 megapixel 1/2.3" , 8GB memory (...)

When iPhone will be launched

All of us we are waiting what is going to happen with the next iPhone? Is there anything new or the same things are there?

Of course that the advances will be there and the spirit of Steve Jobs is still there, in all this products the spirit, the reason why apple have been created by Steve is obliviously  there.

I press sources news of their intention to launch their new Apple smart and waited (iPhone 6) in May , in the spring of this year, 2014 , which does not match what Apple has done with the Released every fall and exactly in the month of October each year recent innovations in smartphones and tablets, the news came a day after the proclamation of the message Tim Cook to employees.

Transfer News website ( Digitimes ) from private sources in Apple's supply chain, and confirms that the company is preparing to launch two , the first smart phone should iPhone 6 and the second is an iPad Pro tablet, which is will screen measures 13 inches.

But in the matter by the sudden transfer site Digitimes is to launch a new smartphone iPhone 6 will be exceptionally in May instead of October, which is used in smartphones company offers the same , while the iPad Phone Pro tablet will be released in October of the same year.

As part of this " the news is confirmed , " the iPhone 6 come many advantages, including the measurement of the screen , which could be up to 5 inches, and 20 nm processor will of the Taiwanese company TSMC .

All we can see the fines the class that this products have and not because they know what the people want but they offer what the people should want, like Steve thoughts.

Choosing the right cell phone for you.

Of course that all this companies that are around it is very difficult to choose the right cell phone for yourself. And i think that all of you now maybe you are thinking that this is not a very difficult question  because if you have enough money is very easy to choose the right phone: i will choose iPhone or Samsung. But, is that the right selection? Now you are going to take your answer:

Selecting a cell phone is no longer just about mobile communication – it is now a lifestyle choice. If you don’t select the phone that fits your personality, you won’t be happy with it. New cell phones are beginning to have little in common with earlier cell phones. The new models feature color screens, digital cameras, high-speed internet connections, multimedia games, and music playback. In case you were wondering, you can also use them to make phone calls. It’s only a matter of time before everyone has these features on their cell phones.

Text messaging or “texting" is now available standard on most cell phones. It is similar to instant messaging except that messages are sent and received by cell phones instead of computers. Multimedia messaging allows you to send audio, video, and pictures as an attachment to a text message.

Multimedia messaging was once seen as entertainment, but is rapidly becoming valuable to the business world. Real estate agents take photos of houses with their cell phones and employment agencies may use camera phones to photograph job applicants – all away from their office.

Dial In On the Options

Cellular providers in the United States use either GSM or CDMA technology. When you buy a cell phone, it is tied to either GSM or CDMA cellular network, but can't be converted from one to the other. If you ever switch cellular providers, you may also need to switch phones. Most cellular providers now have high-speed data networks. These data networks work with high-end cell phones and special network cards you can purchase for laptops.

Data networks usually transmit data slightly faster than a dialup internet connection. These networks are still being developed and are yet to be available everywhere. Look for higher speed networks to be much more common by 2006.

If you want to purchase a camera phone, consider what quality of photos you need to take. Most camera phones have less than a one megapixel resolution, which produces low-quality images. If you need to take clear photos, look into a camera phone with 3 or more megapixels.

Voice Dialing and Bluetooth are becoming standard in many phones to make it easier and safer for people to use their phones while driving. Voice Dialing allows you to speak a person’s name into your phone, which will automatically find the person in your address book and dial the number for you.

Bluetooth lets you connect a headset to your phone without wires. Some luxury cars are beginning to offer Bluetooth connectivity so that you can take calls in your car through the built-in speaker system.
Some newer cell phones are being designed with an emphasis on entertainment. They can be used to play music MP3 files, stored video and even movies, and video games. In general, the newer phones are all getting smarter and more specialized.

Cell phones are reliable or not?

In this post at poly-technology we are going to talk more about cell-phones are reliable them ore not?
Of course that all of you maybe now you are going to say that this is not something to discuss right now, but believe me it is. Read more here:

Talking with someone is the main use for a cell phone, yet due to poor reception how often do calls not go through, or important calls 'dropped' due to flaky coverage? Let us not forget, that in a time of tragedy, lines were congested and the resounding 'all circuits busy' messages were heard from coast to coast. There is certainly room for improvement if you want to reach out and touch someone.

The alternative to voice communication is traditional text messaging, enjoyed by the young as SMS, a 'hip' communication method, and the older as the tried and true paging, a trustworthy means of communication. A carrier receives pages or text messages via a traditional dial up modem or Internet connection to their terminal, and then broadcasts the messages over their network to the appropriate wireless device. How instant is sending a text message? The answer might surprise you...it depends.

Traditional means of sending text messages is surprisingly reliable and fast. However, many cellular carriers, wishing to merge technologies while keeping costs down, have opted to utilize email technology to send text messages. Why not, an email is nothing more than a text message, using the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP). On the surface this sounds like a great idea, nearly everyone has email access, and the use of the Internet streamlines the sending of messages.

What is often overlooked, is the fact that email was not designed to be time sensitive. There can be significant delays and an instantaneous receipt can be lost when sending email to a pager or cell phone. Text messages sent via the email protocol SMTP could take a more scenic delivery route. While in many cases, receiving messages in a timely fashion is not critical; some industries require and benefit from the receipt of urgent messages. It is therefore important to realize and make a distinction between the protocols that are designed for instantaneous communication and those that are not.

If sending messages immediately to a cell phone or pager is required, more reliable protocols are available. When sending text messages, via a modem, the Telocator Alphanumeric Protocol (TAP) is extremely dependable, albeit slower due to the modem dialing. If sending messages with a high-speed Internet connection use the newer time sensitive Internet protocols: Simple Network Paging Protocol (SNPP) and Wireless Communication Transfer Protocol (WCTP). If your carrier supports these protocols they are the better options for sending important messages.

Sony in 2014

Sony usually has an eye-catching booth at CES, and 2014 was no exception. Stepping into its corner space at the Las Vegas Convention Center was like taking a trip on a spaceship, with a circular ring of screens overhead, showing off Sony's latest wares.
Down on the floor, there were a number of other interesting screens - from Sony's new 4K HDTV with a "wedge" form factor to the Xperia Z1s smartphone.
Those 4K HDTVs, meanwhile, will be able to stream 4K content from Netflix, which is working to roll out Ultra HD movies and TV shows, includingseason two of House of Cards.

This time last year, meanwhile, we hadn't yet seen the PlayStation 4, but it was on display at this year's CES. During its keynote, Sony announced that the company has sold 4.2 million PS4 consoles since it was released in November and would launch a streaming game service, dubbed PlayStation Now, later this year.
There were other goodies inside Sony's booth; take a tour with PCMag's Editor-in Chief, Dan Costa, in the video below. Also watch our booth tours for LGSamsungIntel, and Ford.
